Rugby is an interesting game played all over the world. There is a huge fan following available for the rugby game and the players which makes it one of the most popularly publicized one. Recently, an important piece of news touching upon the game came about. Ross Ford, who is the captain of the Scotland team, insisted that the coach head Andy Robinson reserves the confidence on the team and not to get bogged down by the six nation defeat.
Scotland lost to France at a 23-17 on the Sunday. This means Scotland under Robinson just had won only two games out of the 13 RBS Six Nations matches. This is the first time since the year 2004 that Scotland has had five continuous defeats and it seems like it is quite hard for the team to take it.
The defeat is bound to bring the energy levels down with the team and Ford, the captain of the team showed valiance that the team will bounce back to form under Robinson’s guidance. He called for the team to unite and prepare for the impending games ahead of them and come out of the defeated feeling. Ross Ford claims that the team is well trained and goes out to do the best. The only problem that may come out is because of the drop in the accuracy as well as consistency levels. These two areas if not followed right will cost one more.
The captain of the team is high on spirit and has come out with a clear reason for the defeat which is lack of consistency. He along with the team has identified few areas and is working towards it with full vigor to get back to form. Ford believes that with some composure and strategy being added to the game, they can turn out greater results.
Andy Robinson, the coach for the Scotland team, is working towards building the team back into full form and with the help of the captain things are sure to get better for the team which has been under pressure for quite some time now.
